I am a management graduate and started my corporate / industrial journey in 1981. In the last 42+ years I have worked in 4 organisations - all in the city of Kolkata and started my own consulting company when I could not find a fifth job in Kolkata.

Any Experience Is A Teacher

In all the years that I have lived in this world, I think I managed to find humour in most situations that faced me. More importantly, I have had some experiences that have taught me invaluable life lessons - right from my childhood.

Through these writings I will share these experiences.

A Peek Into How We Lived Half A Century Ago

Life has changed dramatically over the decades and my experiences will only highlight how the generation of yesteryears managed to thrive and prosper in an era bygone - devoid of mobile phones, internet connectivity, and so on. And how human values and interactions were so so different.

Booking a Trunk Call, sending a post card, inland letter, envelope or a telegram, sending money orders and ordering book post - all these and more. And all the unique learning that ensued from each experience.
